Visiting Irian Jaya

I visited Irian Jaya two years ago because my uncle has a factory over there, and my family were invited at his new paper factory's open ceremony. i stayed there for 5 days and i got a lot of cultural shocks when i was there. i will not going to forget all of those experiences.
first of all, one day in the evening i walked alone around my uncle factory and i wore pretty short pants because i used to dress like that when i am at home. during i walked around, many people looked at me and talked behind me, so got confuse. well, luckily one of my uncle's secretary told me that was unusual thing ehen there is a girl in the evening walking around alone and wear minim clothes. people there may think that i was a bad girl. i felt so suprise because i thought wear pretty short pants doesn't maean that i am horn. so from that day i will not wear a short pants when i visiting a new place in rare areas.
secondly, i was not only got a surprise from that tragedy but also another cultural shock stories came when i had a lunch at my uncle house. at that time i was not only having lucnh with my family but also with the whole of my uncle's factory employers which were around 10 = 12 persons. we were having lunch at my uncle's vactory hall and my mond cooked some javaness and chinese foods for us. short story most of my uncle's employers shock that we use to ear all the part of chicken such as foot (ceker)., head and inside of the body (jerohan). for those people it was not a certain thing to do they thought we could only eat the prevalant parts of the chicken. because of their opinions my mom canceled to serve the chicken with honey sauce.
the last one is about the way they talk, they were talking so fast and most of them still use the original language of Irian so i was not understand at all because of that problem, i often got confuse and missunderstanding while having a conversation with them. that was very annoyed
