The difference of an American and an Indonesian

This phenomenon was happened when I was in senior high school . My senior high school was in SMAK.St.Hendrikus , Surabaya . The phenomenon started when there is a transferred student from America to my school . The transferred student named was Jeannete . I thought it was the first time I have a friend from America . The process of making friendship with her was not difficult , but in the first time I thought it would be so hard enough to do it . I thought that Jeannete would be silent and would be shy in class , but everything is the opposite . The first impression of Jeannete was correct that she is silent and shy , but it is not for a long time . The friendship and icebreaking started only about 4 or 5 days and Jeannete the America student who lived in America that day is like a Jeannete an American who live in Surabaya for a long time . She making jokes with all of my friend and of course me . The funniest thing was many of my friends were not good at English . So , many of my friends responded Jeannete's English language with body language and a little bit short form of  English by my friends . It was a great and unforgettable moment of our friendship . Jeannete more like a boy , she is such a boy in his style of friendship . In Indonesian , a girl is identical with her shy personalities and closed . But Jeannete is the different one , I got an image of American girl from Jeannete . The American girl culture is open and they are very welcome and they were not a shy person . For example , when Jeannete said hello to me or my friends , she's patting our backs . She spoke with us with the expression of happy and cheers up . When she spoke , she always watch the eyes of the pair . Jeannete stay in Surabaya , Indonesia not for a long time . She only stay in here for about only 2 months and then she returned to America . I got many imagination about the America culture from Jeannete , and I also missed her very much because I do not have many native friends .
